Listed since 1980, this limestone massif is home to over 700 plant species and a rich variety of wildlife. On foot, horseback or mountain bike, there are numerous trails for exploring its varied landscapes. Mountain bikers will enjoy the challenging circuits starting from Frontignan, with technical climbs rewarded by breathtaking views of the surrounding lakes.
For hiking, several routes of varying levels of difficulty are accessible from Vic-la-Gardiole, Frontignan, Gigean and Balaruc-les-Bains: ideal for enjoying nature at your own pace and according to your preferences.
